Our Newborn photography sessions take place in my cozy residential studio in the beautiful S.E. Aurora, CO 80016. We are a Legal and Certified Business, operating under the permission of the City of Aurora.
I currently do not offer in-home sessions with the same props available in the studio. Our studio is set up with the latest safest props available on the market.
About Newborns in the Studio:
I provide all the props, wraps, bonnets, floors and accessories.
My top priorities are health, safety and sanitation.
As a newborn and family photographer, I make sure my health is well taken care with regular routine checkups with my personal doctors.
I'm certified to work with infants and this certification gets refreshed on a regular basis, as required.
My studio, props, garments and equipment are hand sanitized before I set up and stage each session and after session has been completed.
During my professional live, I have photographed several newborns, toddlers and families. Newborn safety is a huge priority as they aren't able to sustain their heads while being held.
All trainings, I've have attended, stressed the importance and huge number of responsibilities when dealing with newborns, including the ones who are born with syndromes.
When should I schedule my Newborn Session?
Newborn sessions are best held when baby is around 5~14 days old, as this is when they are still in their sleepiest state and most flexible without much digestive discomfort of gas. The earlier the better due to baby's progressive adaptation to the external world
My suggestion, to expecting moms, is that they book their Newborn Sessions, during the Second Trimester.
Maternity Sessions can be also booked during this timeframe, when belly beautifully round and highlights you as a gorgeous diva!
How do I handle and organize my Newborn Calendar?
After booking with me, I will write your due date in my calendar, with a large window of a week before and another after, to guarantee more chances that we get the right date and count, that sets on stones, of your Studio Session.
When baby is born, normally mom or dad, will notify me withing 3 days of birth, so we can firmly schedule your actual photo-session.
Who should attend the Newborn Session?
I kindly ask that only immediate family, Mom and Dad, come to the studio.
If there is any portion of the session with young siblings' participation, then I will handle this first portion first. After we are done with toddler siblings, normally Dad, or another relative, will take the toddlers to the car or for an enjoyable sightseeing visit to Southlands Mall, less than 1 mile away, and I stay in peaceful and quiet environment that allows the newborn to get fed and relax for the photo-session to run smoothly.
All newborn sessions take place at 10:30 or 11:00 a.m.
After selecting your favorite images out of the proof gallery, there is the hand-editing process on my end, so I can work on each individual image, of your selected Package, to make magic happen. Extra images, beautiful durable albums, folio boxes, cards and artwork can be purchased A La Carte, I love to do, anything that is under my abilities and capabilities, to provide each of my clients the most comfortable experience process in one stop. This way, my clients will have their memories delivered as convenient as possible.
